The Year of You… 2011

I just returned from leading a goal setting workshop for Lululemon called Goals, Gumption and Greatness and what a night of greatness it turned out to be.
It takes a heck of a lot of Gumption (don’t you love this word! It means courage & initiative) to be able to stand in your own Greatness. It also takes gumption to share your dreams with strangers and what you need to walk out of in order to walk on to a life that suits YOU.
Let 2011 be The Year of You by setting goals that resonate from deep within. You can start by asking yourself the following questions:
1. What are you inspired to Walk OUT OF (environments, thinking, relationships, habits etc…)?
2. How would your life be different if you did that?
3. What are you being drawn to or interested in Walking On To?
4. If nothing was stopping you, what would you Walk OUT of and what would you Walk ON TO?
Some of tonights participants are walking out of:
- the need for Approval from others in order to live their desired life
- a need to “look good”
- financial scarcity
- jobs! (we now have 2 unemployed, courageous WALK OUTS. You go gals!)
As the New Year fast approaches, I encourage you to take a moment to celebrate your own gumption and greatness and create space to set goals for 2011 that really will set 2011 up to be The Year of You.
